Hi, I’m Heather, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider (PMH-C). I offer in-person sessions in Lake County and virtual therapy across California.
In therapy, I believe meaningful change starts with a genuine connection. Before anything else, it’s important that you feel safe, understood, and able to trust the space we’re creating together.
At the same time, therapy should help you actually feel better—not just talk about what’s wrong. Together, we’ll begin to understand the patterns, thoughts, and experiences that are keeping you stuck, and work toward practical, lasting change.
I use evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, and sleep-focused strategies to help you move through anxiety, depression, trauma, and sleep challenges in a way that feels manageable and effective.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and many people worry about being judged. My role is to meet you exactly where you are. Your story is your story, and you will always be met with openness, respect, and compassion.
In our sessions, the full range of emotions are welcome. There may be laughter, there may be tears, and sometimes anger too—all of it has a place here.

Together, we’ll gently explore the thoughts and beliefs that may be fueling anxiety or depression, using therapeutic tools and mindfulness to help shift these patterns and move toward meaningful relief.
Trauma Recovery
I incorporate EMDR therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps process traumatic or distressing experiences that may still be showing up in daily life as anxiety, emotional triggers, intrusive thoughts, or feeling stuck in old patterns.
Sleep Disorders
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) techniques to help address the thoughts and patterns that interfere with sleep, helping your mind and body settle into more consistent, restorative rest.
